Roanhorse; G1 - Chapter 2

Da go Te'. Hello! It seems strange to be writing in the family journal. Father has passed away now. Here's a picture of him with one of the twins, who have now grown up a bit.

This is Gabriel.

Note from Arki: Omigod. What's wrong with her face?!?! Help! Please, oh, please, let her out-grow it. I'm guessing this is why people say BodyShop sims aren't very breedable.

And this is Gavin. We have got to do something about their hair and clothes.

Much better.

And a new outfit. She looks so cute - she just learned to walk.

And here's Gavin again - minus that hideous pink tuxedo. What Weatherly was thinking to dress him in that is beyond me. She says the hospital did it, but I don't know that I believe her. You'd think that would be a poor business decision on their part.

Jasmine loves the snow. She kept after me that she wanted to build a snowman, so here we are.

I think we stayed out a bit long, though. I always thought "turning blue" was an expression. Guess not.

Before I knew it, she grew into a teen.

Why do I feel like I need to get a baseball bat and a large dog?

And Gabby and Gavin grew up, as well.

From Arki: Thank god, she seems to have outgrown some of the ugly. Whew!

They'll be starting school soon - and they're already excited!

On a side-note, I keep seeing Billy. I haven't told Weatherly or anyone, but it's like he's trying to tell me something. I just wish I knew what.

But I went ahead and got that dog. I'm not sure how big she'll be, but the kids already love her. And that's really what it's all about.

Love and family and friends.

The kids look great! I love the way you've enhanced their Native American look.

Awww ... he will be missed. *sniffles* I've been meaning to ask you if you have any Native American in your family, and that's why you know some of these phrases. *boggles*

Boy ... those kids ... woo! That one toddler pictures of the young girl ... she looks like she's got a goatee, poor kid. The boy (the one in the pink tux), he kinda look like a little gangster with that face and expression. *chuckles*

Thank goodness they've outgrown the .... "strange".

So ... what was the spirit trying to tell us? He wan't murdered, was he? Or maybe he knows about the drug???

My mom's (step) got some Cherokee in her, and so does my husband's family. But actually, I've just always been fascinated by the Native American culture. I have a lot of respect for them. As for the phrases and what-not, there are dictionaries online :-)

And as for Billy - well, now. Even when he was alive, he said the "spirits were ridin' her hard" about Elle. Now that he's in the spirit world, too... There's no telling what he knows ;-)

Gavin grew up to be a good-looking boy, IMO. And Jasmine's a knock-out. Gabby's doing much better. Her under-bite as a toddler was scary. I'm hoping she grows prettier as she ages. Makeup may help, too, when she hits teen-hood.

Yay for dodging the ugly bullet! Bodyshop sims make some SCARY babies... but it depends on how extreme their features are. The further out of the Maxis medium, the worse the babies. Especially with jutting chins, 'realistically' placed eyes, and crazy noses!

She did grow out of those features. I like her looks as a child. Gavin's too. Their features are quite unique and really turned into a nice blend as children. I hope it continues into their older years.

The little ones seem to have grown up nicely and Jasmine is a gorgeous teen. I hope things continue to go well for this family.
